  Before we got married, Mark and I took a long road trip.   Long trip being traveling over 14 000 miles over three months in a suburban with almost no budget and no set plan.   Side note: If ever you want to ''test'' a relationship go on a 14 000 mile road trip together, over a period of three months, in a suburban with almost no budget and no set plan. If you can make it without gouging each other's eyes out and/or without throwing your significant other into the abyss of the Grand Canyon, you're definitely in it for the long haul....

Leaving Key West is probably one of the worst things on earth to have to do....you know, besides getting water-boarded or having to sit through a full episode of Wife Swap.   So, when I walked up to the check-in computer and it asked me if I wanted to upgrade to first class for $90.00, I hit the ''f*$#! yeah'' button (ok, there wasn’t actually a ''f*!#& yeah'' button, but you know what I'm saying)....

Phew!   Last night we came home after spending 2 weeks in my home town of Pointe-de-l'Église, Nouvelle-Écosse, Canada.   We had a wonderful time, filled with fun and sometimes bizarre happenings, which will be the subject of many posts to come.   This year, we hadn't planned on making our yearly trip, but the smell of the salty air and fries drenched in cheese and gravy...aka poutine, were somehow making their way down south urging me to buckle up and hit the road...
